How do I make a reservation?

It’s easy! You may reserve securely from our website, by calling our office at 773-564-9568 or emailing us at stay@theguesthousehotel.com.  A $200 initial credit card payment is required to secure the reservation and will be applied to the total balance owed.  If you are reserving more than one unit, a $200 payment will be required for each. Your final balance is due 14 days before your date of check-in.  If you make the reservation within 14 days of check-in, your total balance is due.

What payment methods are accepted?

A credit card is required for all reservations and the initial $200 payment.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  Your final payment may be paid by credit card, check or PayPal.

Are there any additional fees?

A 17.4% Chicago Hotel and Occupancy Tax is not included in the nightly rate and will be added to your reservation.

Do you have parking?

Parking is available by reservation only for $20 per night, plus tax. Please let us know when making your reservation if you will need parking.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

Cancellations are difficult for a small business like ours. But, if you must, you may cancel your reservation in writing up to 14 days before your arrival date. A $45 cancellation fee will be applied, with the remaining $155 of your initial payment refunded to your credit card on file. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days. Reservations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.  Please email us at stay@theguesthousehotel.com to notify us of your cancellation.

Three Bedroom Units: $200 non-refundable deposit. Final payment due 30 days in advance of check in and non-refundable.

Two & One Bedroom Units: $200 refundable deposit up to 14 days prior to arrival, non-refundable within 14 days of arrival. Final payment due 14 days in advance of check in and non-refundable.

Reservations made over a Holidays or Black Out date are subject to a  non-refundable deposit.

Group Reservation: 4 or more units- Final payment due 30 days in advance of check in and non-refundable.

What are the Black Out Dates?

Black Out dates in 2017 are as follows:

May 20 - 23, 2017

June 2 - 6, 2017

July 1 - 4, 2017

August 3 - 6, 2017

October 6 - 7, 2017

November 22 - December 1, 2017

December  22 - 27, 2017

December 31 - January 1, 2018

 Can I make changes to my reservation?

If you need to make any changes to your reservation, please call us at 773-564-9568 or email us at stay@theguesthousehotel.com.  Please note that changes to your reservation may affect your nightly rate. Any changes made within 14 days of arrival may be subject to our cancellation policies.

What time may I check-in?

Check-in time begins at 4:00 pm and our front desk team is available around the clock to personally check you in.  You may request an early check-in by emailing stay@theguesthousehotel.com the day before arrival to see if your unit will be ready early.  If we cannot accommodate an early check-in, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us in our office.  Our check out time is 10:00 am.

Do you offer housekeeping?

To respect your privacy and help conserve our natural resources, we do not offer daily housekeeping. Your suite will be fully stocked with plenty of linens, bathroom amenities and even a starter pack of laundry detergent.

Do you allow children?

We love kids and children of all ages are more than welcome! We offer several kid-friendly amenities and packages including cribs, high chairs and Pack-n-Plays. For a complete list of our kids products, click here. We ask that you are respectful of your neighbors by not allowing children to run in the units, public areas or make excessive noise.

Do you allow pets?

Well-behaved dogs are welcome!  Please let us know in advance so we’re prepared to welcome your pooch.

Do You Have A Restaurant?

We do not have a restaurant, but our neighborhood is full of amazing dining options within walking distance. We have partnered with one of our favorite local restaurants, River Valley Farmers Table, to offer our guests In-Room Dining.

Is smoking allowed?  

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the building, the units, and within 20 feet of the building. Violators of this policy will be fined.  No exceptions.
